Sediment Buster originated from the creative mind of a master plumber who grew weary of the challenges posed by draining and removing full water heaters from basements. Rather than resorting to makeshift tools like coat hangers to remove the clogs, he conceived the idea of employing air pressure, and the Sediment Buster was born.
Drain a tank upstairs with just air pressure
We conducted an experiment where we elevated a hose 10 feet and emptied a full water heater using nothing but minimal air pressure. With just 0.433 PSI needed to push water up 1 foot, a mere 5 PSI of head pressure can propel water through a hose up a flight of stairs. By injecting air at the drain valve, not only is the pressure maintained, but the drain hole is also kept clear throughout the process.

Our master plumber insisted on a clear window in this tool. Even experienced plumbers can struggle to check draining when the end of the hose is 50 feet away or upstairs.
